So I woke up this morning to check my comments, and found out that I was picked as the Ray of Sunshine for the Sunny Challenges & Creations Challenge.

This week The Paper Players have Clean and Simple challenge to use tags.  I ended up with a very down played vintage feeling card, especially when combined with the color combo from ColourQ this week.

 

 

My card:

I added the flourish stamp in crumb cake to the tag, but you can’t tell it that well in the picture. The the border stamp along the bottom of the Riding Hood Red CS. Finished it off with Pearl accents in the center of the flower as well as along the bottom.

I have a friend/ customer that loves to make cards at the Stamp a Stacks that are from the catalog.  Some times I don’t have the stamp set that maybe on the card, so I use the colors, or layout for the cards.  This is one that she asked about last month, so I had to have it be for the November Stamp a Stack.  I had a lot of fun making this.  Everyone loved the colors, and they are fun for a not so traditionally colored holiday card.  I also love that you use the tree laying on it’s side for the background of the Not Quite Navy.

I have been working on creating goody bags, estimation stations, swap for regional, etc!  So, I am going to finish up my stuff tonight, and try to get some pictures taken so I can post some more.  : )

ColouQ Challenge for this week had fun Halloween colors.  My only problem, not many Halloween stamps, and not a single current one!

 

I do however, have an overload of birthdays this month that I still have cards to make…and one happens to be for a boy turning 3!

 

 

The picture is not as clear as I would have liked, but then again, I am using my old camera for my posts again.  I love the Build a Bear stamps and they currently are my go to stamp set for younger birthday cards.

Sometimes keeping it simple is the best approach.
