sketchy birthday

Mojo Monday had a fun sketch.

I wanted to use the DSP from SAB since I just love the endless possible combinations.  I also LOVE the new pleated ribbon.  So I wanted to make certain to use that as well…even it is just a little bit!

Vintage Colored Tags

This week The Paper Players have Clean and Simple challenge to use tags.  I ended up with a very down played vintage feeling card, especially when combined with the color combo from ColourQ this week.

My card:

I added the flourish stamp in crumb cake to the tag, but you can’t tell it that well in the picture. The the border stamp along the bottom of the Riding Hood Red CS. Finished it off with Pearl accents in the center of the flower as well as along the bottom.
I hope you enjoy.

Birthday Challenge

So, many of you may have guessed that I have to have a lot of different birthday cards for children.  So, when I saw the challenge for Sunny Challenge & Creations this week, I knew that I had to participate.  Not only do I have stuff to make the card, but I know it will be used this year! :)   Not only it is a sketch challenge, but a Themed one!!!

My version fits girl or boy

Mashed Up Sketches

{Freshly Made} Sketch this week:

The Friday Mashup Challenge:

My version I used the DSP that is already embossed, and used the brayer to color it Blushing Bride.  Then used the Chocolate Chip as my mats.  The red is minor, but still makes a big impact to me!
